Export a Discord server member list to CSV or Excel

Short answerDiscordSuite exports your server's member list to a CSV or Excel file through your own Discord bot and Discord's official API. It's free, with a member limit per export.

What it does

Each row is one member, with nine columns: user ID, username, display name, nickname, roles, join date, account creation date, bot or not, and avatar link. Choose CSV for any spreadsheet or script, or Excel (XLSX) to open it straight in Excel. It's built for server owners. Discord shares full member lists through its bot API, so DiscordSuite asks your own bot instead of your personal account. The bot is added with no permissions and only needs Server Members Intent. Setup takes about two minutes, and the extension guides you, including a one-click "Add bot to this server" link.

How to use it

Open your server in Discord in Chrome, open DiscordSuite and go to the Members tab. The first time:

  1. 1

Create an application in the Discord Developer Portal and add a bot to it.

  2. 2

Under Bot, turn on Server Members Intent and copy the bot token.

  3. 3

Paste the token into DiscordSuite under Members and click Save.

  4. 4

Click Add bot to this server and approve it on Discord's page. The bot needs no permissions.

  5. 5

Choose CSV or Excel and click Export members.

After that, exporting again is one click. Click Forget bot token to remove the token from DiscordSuite. Error messages are explained on the support page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I export a Discord member list without a bot?

DiscordSuite uses your own bot, because Discord provides full member lists through its official bot API. Setting one up takes about two minutes and DiscordSuite guides you through it.

Can I export the member list of a server I don't own?

Member export is built for server owners. You need to be able to add your bot to the server, which Discord allows only for people who can manage that server.

What permissions does the bot need?

None. The "Add bot to this server" link adds it with no permissions. It only needs Server Members Intent turned on in the Developer Portal.

Can I export Discord members by role?

Yes. Every row includes the member's roles, so filter the roles column in Excel or Google Sheets to list the members of one role.
