How do I install DiscordSuite?

Click Add to Chrome, then Add extension.

Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin DiscordSuite.

Open discord.com, sign in, and click into any channel, thread or DM. Click the DiscordSuite icon: the popup shows the channel and server name, so it's ready.
DiscordSuite is built for Google Chrome on a computer. Its screens appear in English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French or German, picked from your browser's language.
How does DiscordSuite get my messages?
It asks Discord's API for the messages in the open chat, 100 at a time, using the session already signed in on that tab. It builds the file you picked (HTML, CSV, Excel, JSON or TXT) inside your browser, hands it to Chrome's downloader, and follows Discord's rate limits.
What permissions does it ask for?
Access to discord.com and Discord's media domains (cdn.discordapp.com, media.discordapp.net), plus Chrome's activeTab and scripting (read the session on the Discord tab), storage (license key, "only new messages" markers, bot token), downloads (save files) and offscreen (prepare large files).
What happens to my data?
- Your Discord login stays in your browser. DiscordSuite uses the Discord session you already have open. It never asks for your password, and your login is never saved or sent anywhere except Discord.
- Exports are built on your computer. Your messages are never uploaded to us.
- The extension only sends your license key to our server. If you buy a license, Stripe or PayPal passes us your email so we can send you the key. Card details stay with Stripe or PayPal. We never receive your Discord login, messages or exports.
- No analytics or tracking, in the extension or on the website.

How do I activate a paid tool?

Click Upgrade in the popup, or go to pricing.

Pay by card or PayPal. Each tool is billed monthly, quarterly or yearly; the All tools bundle can also be billed every 2 years.

Copy your license key from the success page or the email.

Paste it under License key and click Activate.
Activation is instant. The license check is cached for 24 hours. If it can't reach the license server, your last confirmed license keeps working until 3 days after your paid period ends, and at most 35 days after the last successful check.

Frequently asked questions
How does a Discord chat exporter extension work?
It requests the messages of the chat you have open from Discord's API using your signed-in session, then builds a file from them in your browser.
Do I need to keep the popup open while exporting?
No. Exports run in the extension's background, so you can close the popup. Closing Chrome itself stops the export. Reopen the popup to check progress or cancel.
