1. Acceptance
These terms apply whenever you install the extension, create or use a license, buy a paid tool, request a team license, or visit discordsuite.io. If you do not accept them, do not use DiscordSuite.
If you use DiscordSuite on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.
2. What DiscordSuite is
DiscordSuite is a Chrome extension that exports Discord messages you can already access to files on your computer, and related tools such as member list export (through your own Discord bot) and an emoji and sticker downloader.
DiscordSuite is not a Discord product. DiscordSuite is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.
3. License grant
Personal paid license. A paid license is personal to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the paid tool you bought on any number of your own computers and browsers. You may not share, lend, rent, sublicense or resell the key, or let other people use it.
Team license. Teams of 5 or more people need a team license. Team licenses are sold by contacting us at the support page. A team license may be used by the people we name when we issue it, on their own computers and browsers, and may not be shared outside that group or resold.
Free plan. The free plan is licensed the same way: personal use of the extension, with the limits described on the pricing page.
We may deactivate a key that is shared publicly, used by people who are not licensed, or obtained by fraud. We may refuse or cancel a license if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.
4. Subscriptions, renewal, cancellation and refunds
Paid licenses are paid subscriptions. You can pay by card or PayPal. Each tool is billed monthly, quarterly or yearly; the All tools bundle can also be billed every 2 years. Current prices are on the pricing page.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each paid period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Manage link in the extension (card billing opens Stripe's portal; PayPal billing opens PayPal's automatic-payments page). After you cancel, a paid tool stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not prorate unused time except where the law requires it.
Refunds. Ask within seven days of buying and we will return the full amount, without asking why. Email [email protected] or use the contact form on the support page. After a refund, the key stops working at the extension's next successful license check, normally within 24 hours while you're online. Free-plan use does not involve a payment, so it is not refundable.
If you ask your bank or PayPal to reverse a charge (a chargeback), the license is cancelled as soon as we are notified. Contact support if the reversal was made in error.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- export only content you already have access to, and take responsibility for how you store, share or reuse it;
- respect other people's privacy and follow the laws that apply to you, including data-protection, recording and copyright laws;
- treat emojis, stickers, attachments and member data as other people's property or personal data where they are;
- if you use member list export, keep your bot token private, run only a bot you control, and handle member data lawfully;
- follow Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and each server's rules;
- not resell, share or publicly post license keys;
- not try to bypass Free or paid-tool limits, forge a license check, or interfere with the license server;
- not use DiscordSuite to harass, spam, scrape people at scale, or break the law.
We may suspend or end your access if we reasonably believe you have broken this section.
6. Discord's Terms and account risk
Draft — pending owner approval (Puerto Rico counsel review recommended).
Chat export in DiscordSuite uses the Discord session already open in your Chrome tab. That is automated access to a user account. Discord's Terms of Service restrict automating user accounts (often called "self-bots"), and Discord may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion.
DiscordSuite is not affiliated with Discord. Automated access to user accounts may violate Discord's Terms. You accept that risk. We do not promise that using DiscordSuite is permitted by Discord, that it is safe for your account, or that Discord will not act against you.
DiscordSuite runs when you start an export, reads chats you can already open, and follows Discord's rate limits. It does not post, edit or delete Discord messages. That description is factual, not a guarantee of how Discord will treat any account.
Member list export is different: it uses your own bot through Discord's official API, not your user session. You are responsible for that bot.
If Discord changes its website, API or rules, DiscordSuite may stop working until we update it. We are not responsible for actions Discord takes on your account, server or bot.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
DiscordSuite is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that every message, attachment, reaction, format detail, member field or emoji will be exported; that the extension will always be available; or that it will be free of bugs. You use it at your own risk.
Some places do not allow implied-warranty disclaimers. If that is true for you, the disclaimer applies only to the extent the law allows.
8. Limitation of liability
Draft — pending owner approval (Puerto Rico counsel review recommended).
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, account suspension, or replacement costs, even if we were told they were possible.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims arising out of DiscordSuite is capped at the fees you paid us for DiscordSuite in the 12 months before the claim. If you have paid us nothing in that period, that cap is zero.
This section does not limit liability that the law says we cannot limit, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a limit is forbidden.
9. Termination
You can stop using DiscordSuite at any time by removing the extension and cancelling any paid subscription.
We may suspend or end a license, a team license or access to the website if you break these terms, if a payment fails or is reversed, if we refund a purchase, or if we stop offering the product. After termination, the license grant ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including acceptable use, Discord account risk, warranties, liability, governing law and this survival sentence) survive.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date on this page when we do. If a change is material, we will also say so on this page. Continued use after the new effective date means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, stop using DiscordSuite and cancel any subscription.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree that the courts located in Puerto Rico have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of these terms or DiscordSuite, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court to protect the license or the service.
If a court finds a part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
